Simple answers.
What is MealMate?
MealMate is a food diary that works through conversation in ChatGPT. Describe a meal, clarify the portions, and save it. You can come back to your meals, nutrition totals, weight records, and saved recipes whenever you need them.
Can I start with a photo?
Yes. You can share a meal photo in ChatGPT or describe what you ate. ChatGPT helps identify the food, and MealMate asks about unclear portions before saving. Nutrition values are estimates based on the foods and portions you confirm.
What if I need to change something?
Just say what changed. MealMate can correct a portion, ingredient, or meal time in your saved diary, so you don’t need to log the meal again.
Can I save recipes too?
Yes. Share an Instagram recipe link to import its available ingredients and steps, then ask MealMate to save it. Saving a recipe adds it to your library; it does not log a meal or calculate its nutrition.
Do I have to set calorie or weight goals?
No. You can keep a food diary without setting any goals. If you choose to add targets or record your weight, MealMate uses the information you provide.
How do I get access?
MealMate isn’t published in the ChatGPT marketplace yet. Click “Get early access” and leave your name and email. We’ll contact you when there’s an opportunity to try it. Joining the list doesn’t create an account or guarantee an invitation.
